In June 2000, CVC purchased six 250+ kw transmitters at a Cox Peninsula site near Darwin.

CVC English, CVC Chinese (Mandarin) and CVC Indonesian (Bahasa) services are being relayed via satellite from Maroochydore to the Cox Transmission site and are re-broadcast on short wave to Indonesia, South East Asia, the Indian sub-continent and China.
